Explosion-proof ventilators are ventilation equipment specially designed for flammable and explosive environments. They are mainly used in explosive hazardous areas in industries such as petroleum, chemical engineering, metallurgy, pharmaceuticals, electronics, aerospace, ports and warehousing. They are suitable for conveying gases with medium temperature not exceeding 80℃, dust content ≤100mg/m³ and impurity diameter ≤1mm.
The equipment adopts explosion-proof motors and aluminum alloy impellers, with a flameproof enclosure in its structural design. Explosion-proof types include flameproof type (d) and increased safety type (e). It is classified into Class IIA, IIB and IIC by gas group, with temperature classes covering T1 to T6. Technical parameters require the impeller to undergo dynamic balance correction and pass an overspeed test at 110% of the rated speed.
Installation shall comply with specifications such as foundation level calibration and pipeline diameter ratio ≥1.1:1. Maintenance includes regular inspection of the motor and cleaning of the air duct.
