Vertical exposed fan coil units are common terminal equipment in air conditioning systems, suitable for scenarios such as shopping malls and office spaces. Their operation and installation must comply with the following specifications:
- Before starting the unit, check if the power supply is normal and confirm that the water inlet and outlet valves are in the open state.
- Select the cooling/heating mode via the control panel and set the target temperature (26℃ is recommended in summer, and 18-20℃ in winter).
- Adjust the air volume level (usually set to high, medium, and low levels) and select the fresh air or circulation mode according to requirements.
- During operation, monitor the parameter displayed on the panel and clean the return air filter regularly (once a month is recommended).
- When shutting down, first turn off the power supply, and disconnect the main power supply only after the fan stops running.
- Choose a location with a flat ground and a load-bearing capacity of ≥150kg/m², and ensure that a maintenance space of ≥50cm is reserved around the unit.
- Fix the bracket with M12 expansion bolts, and the horizontal deviation shall be ≤3‰.
- Use PPR or galvanized steel pipes for the water inlet and outlet pipes, with a slope of ≥0.003, and install an exhaust valve.
- The power cord shall be a copper core wire with a cross-sectional area of ≥2.5mm², and the grounding resistance shall be ≤4Ω.
After installation, a pressure holding test with 1.5 times the working pressure (usually 1.2MPa) shall be conducted; the test is qualified if there is no leakage for 15 consecutive minutes.
