Vertical Exposed FCU

Vertical Exposed Fan Coil Units (FCUs) are terminal equipment of central air-conditioning systems. Featuring a floor-mounted exposed structure, they are suitable for office buildings, hotels, and similar premises. Temperature control is achieved through forced air circulation, which enables heat exchange with the cold/hot water coil.
Core Features of Vertical Exposed Fan Coil Units
1. Structural Composition
Composed of three core components: seamless red copper tubes, sine-wave corrugated aluminum fins, and a double-inlet centrifugal fan. Equipped with a permanent magnet motor, it operates at low noise levels of ≤54 dB(A).
2. Heat Exchange Performance
The hydraulic tube expansion process ensures zero-gap contact between fins and copper tubes. The cooling capacity ranges from 2,165 W to 12,600 W, making it suitable for spaces of 30–150 m².
3. Intelligent Control
Supports three-speed air flow adjustment. Temperature can be controlled with an accuracy of ±0.5℃ via a thermostat, and a water leakage protection device is equipped as standard.
Typical Application Scenarios & Installation Specifications
1. Commercial Sectors
  • Hotel Guest Rooms: Standard units with an air volume of 340–2,380 m³/h are provided to meet the demand for independent temperature control in individual rooms.
  • Office Buildings: FP-LM series models are adopted. A maintenance space of at least 1.2 meters must be reserved between installed units.
2. Installation Key Points
  • For foundation installation, the horizontal deviation must be ≤2 mm/m. Y-type filters should be installed on the water inlet and outlet pipes.
  • The slope of the condensate pan must be ≥3‰, and U-shaped bends are prohibited in the drain pipe.
