During summer and transition seasons, the self-cleaning sand and dust filtration fresh air unit filters outdoor air and delivers it into the rooms without manual cleaning of the GRD self-cleaning filtration section, so as to meet indoor temperature and air cleanliness requirements.
The filtration unit is composed of the following functional sections in sequence:Fresh air → Intake air damper → GRD self-cleaning filtration section (no replacement required) → Continuous dust exhaust fan → Medium-efficiency filtration section → Fan section → Supply air section.
(1) The self-cleaning dust removal and purification equipment mainly consists of a cabinet, dust removal module, dust exhaust fan, supply fan, safety filtration section, sand-proof and rain-proof louvers at the air inlet, motorized airtight damper at the air outlet, electric control system, installation accessories, etc.Rainproof measures shall be taken for outdoor installation. A sloped top shall be provided on the unit to prevent accumulation of rainwater and sand dust.
(2) The dust removal module shall feature automatic dust discharge, free from manual operation and maintenance, and be capable of long-term stable operation under various severe working conditions (including sandstorm weather).
(3) The core filtration module shall be tested by the counting method in accordance with GB/T 14295-2019.The removal efficiency for 0.5μm sand dust shall be ≥60%, and the dust removal efficiency of the equipment shall not be lower than Grade Z3.With the safety filtration section activated, the removal efficiency for 0.5μm sand dust shall be ≥90%, and the dust removal efficiency shall not be lower than Grade GZ.
(4) The core filtration module shall be tested with artificial test dust specified in ASHRAE 52.1 in accordance with EN 779:2012, with an average gravimetric efficiency of no less than 93%.With the safety filtration section activated and using the same artificial test dust per ASHRAE 52.1, the average gravimetric efficiency shall be no less than 95%.
(5) In accordance with the test method specified in GB/T 10125-2021, the dust filtration components shall achieve a rating of Ra ≥ Grade 8 as required in GB/T 6461-2002 after 720 hours of salt spray or acid fog test, meeting the anti-corrosion requirements of the project site.
(6) Parts of the dust removal section in contact with the air flow shall be made of high-strength 304 stainless steel with wear resistance, corrosion resistance, anti-static and anti-cracking properties.
