product description
Fan Type
The fan shall be a steel backward-inclined impeller plug fan, driven directly by coupling or belt drive. The fan structure shall allow easy withdrawal of the impeller for maintenance or cleaning.
Fan Impeller
The impeller shall be made of steel, backward-inclined, and fully welded. It shall be statically and dynamically balanced to meet ISO 1940 Grade G2.5. At the maximum allowable speed, the impeller shall ensure smooth airflow and low noise levels. Its design shall effectively prevent performance degradation due to operating point drift.
For operating temperatures below 200°C, the impeller material shall be Q235A and Q195B. For temperatures between 200°C and 450°C, the impeller shall be made of 304 stainless steel to ensure strength and prevent creep deformation under high-temperature, high-speed operation.
Fan Casing
The fan casing shall be made of steel with sufficient thickness and strength to withstand the maximum operating weight of the fan. It shall be continuously welded and equipped with an access door for removal of foreign objects that may enter the fan.
Air Inlet
The fan air inlet shall be designed strictly according to aerodynamic principles, with a smooth, streamlined surface and effective rectification to reduce turbulence, improve fan efficiency, and lower noise.
Surface Treatment
The fan surface shall first be ground and cleaned to remove protrusions, weld slag, burrs, sharp edges, iron chips, and oil stains. It shall then be electrostatically coated with epoxy resin or a high-temperature resistant coating (for high-temperature environments). The finish shall be free of unevenness, sagging, cracks, wrinkles, or peeling.
Drive Assembly (Applicable only to belt-driven and coupling-driven types)
The fan shaft shall be precision-turned and heat-treated to a hardness of HB250–280, with a maximum load capacity exceeding 35% of the fan’s maximum operating speed. The shaft shall be equipped with a protective cover.
For operating temperatures below 250°C, the shaft material shall be 45# steel. For temperatures between 251°C and 450°C, it shall be made of 304 stainless steel.
The support structure shall use an integral barrel-type bearing housing. The bearing life inside the housing shall exceed L10: 80,000 hours. Bearings shall be lubricated with lithium-based grease, with the oil level filled as indicated by the oil sight glass. For operating temperatures above 80°C, high-temperature grease shall be used.
The pulley shall be made of cast iron and sized for at least 130% of the drive power. Both the pulley and belt shall be equipped with protective covers.
The coupling shall be a flexible type, with safety factors for transmitted power and torque meeting the fan design requirements, and shall include a protective cover.
Motor
The motor shall be closely matched to the fan load, with protection class IP54 and insulation class F. Motor bearings shall be ball bearings and lubricable. The motor and drive assembly shall be located outside the airflow to prevent accumulation of grease or dust from the airstream.
